MOTT 32 - Hong Kong

Updated: Oct 9, 2020

It was a special day. I just became permanent resident in Hong Kong! And it was the 3-year anniversary of my lovely auntie with us.

To celebrate we went to a fantastic restaurant called Mott 32.

Mott 32 is a Chinese restaurant, so we had dumplings, crispy pork belly and other dishes. The first dish was pork belly, it was soft and crispy on the top - probably the best pork belly I have ever had. Not fat, Not oily and super tasty! The next dish was a chicken salad with truffle. Mmm… that was good. I liked the mixture of the chicken and the truffle it’s a nice combination! We also had Xiao Long bao (soup dumplings) with soup inside and the meat ball in the middle. IT WAS AMAZING! I loved the soup it was so meaty and tasty and the meat ball just melts on your tongue. I also ordered Siu Mai which is another typical Yum Cha dish, a delicious small dumpling that has pork and shrimp inside. On the side we had broccoli with tofu and red dates. Finally, I had as dessert some Sesame ice cream and my auntie had a matcha (green tea) and chocolate fondant, which I also cheekily tried. Delicious!!!

And That’s my mini-miche review!
